Andrew Critchley started his career in the manufacturing sector, firstly ceramics and then thermoplastics before moving into IT and telecoms. In 1998 he got an opportunity to join a small project management consultancy firm where he became a member of the APM and has been working in the consultancy and training field ever since.
Andrew has a conversational style of training and specialises in the project management and risk management qualifications offered by the APM which he has been delivering for almost 25 years and in 2015 he became a PMQ exam marker and quality reviewer. Over the years the consultancy and training assignments have included numerous business sectors, ranging from automotive to pharmaceutical research and have taken him all over the world.
Outside work Andrew is an avid scuba diver and takes every opportunity to jump off a boat with his camera. He has a long bucket list of dives but for every one that gets ticked off another two or three get added. Last achieved was Museo Atlántico, Lanzarote and next up is Silfra, Iceland.
